According to the National Institute for Health and Welfare, the teenager is not in need of hospital care.

Charges were read to the defendant on Tuesday, including two counts of murder, seven of attempted murder and 32 counts of public endangerment.

More than seven months after the shooting, a 23 year-old female police officer who arrived on the scene in response to the initial alert remains in hospital care.

The gunman allegedly targeted his victims from the rooftop of a business in the city, and used a small bore rifle and a regular hunting rifle during the assault. It has been suspected that the defendant was drunk at the time of the crime.

All of the victims were young adults.

The defendant has confessed to the crimes. The court is expected to hand down its verdict next month.
