Employers are now able to obtain all necessary tax rate information in electronic form directly from the national Tax Administration. Employees are no longer required to provide a hard copy of the document to employers.
Paper copies were, however, still sent automatically to some 4.6 million individuals by post in December and January. The Tax Administration has urged people to check all the income and deduction information that is printed on the cards and request any needed revisions in person or through its online service.
