There's just less than a week left to send holiday cards and packages within Finland, national mail firm Posti announced on Wednesday.
"Domestic parcels will reach their destination by Christmas if you send them by Wednesday, December 21. You can pay for a parcel online, in the OmaPosti app or at a Posti service point. A prepaid parcel can be dropped off at any service point or parcel locker," Posti said in its reminder.
However, in order to ensure cards arrive on time if they are sent next Wednesday, Posti reminded people to use the domestic 'no-value indicator stamp'.
If that special stamp isn't used, then the final day to ensure Christmas cards arrive before the holiday begins is on Sunday, 18 December.
"The no-value indicator stamp can be used for Christmas greeting cards up to 50 g in Finland. Christmas greeting cards mailed by the deadline will be delivered to their destination by Christmas. The stamp's price for 2022 is 1.40 euros," Posti explained.
Posti also reminded customers to ensure they put the full, correct addresses on all parcels and cards.
