Rescue services were called to a number of brush fires in southern Finland on Tuesday.
Terrain is very dry, due to a lack of rain and the region's snow cover melting almost completely over the past few weeks.
Firefighters were alerted to brush fires in Nurmijärvi, Mynämäki, Pyhtää and Merikarvia.
According to preliminary information, the blazes did not cause extensive material damage or injury.
Finland has seen virtually no rain during the month of April, but an expected low pressure system may change that situation at the weekend.
The Finnish Meteorological Institute has issued brush fire warnings this week across many areas of southern and south-western Finland, as well as on the Åland islands.
