Police in Western Uusimaa have requested the public's help in the search for a 44-year-old woman who has not been seen or heard from since the beginning of July.

In a press release (in Finnish), investigating officers noted that Iida Lukander was last seen in Denmark on 6 July. The release includes a photo of Lukander.

According to the police's information, Lukander is known to have been in the coastal Danish village of Køge, about 39 kilometres southwest of Copenhagen, and from there she said she intended to travel to France.

It is believed that she travelled across borders in a lorry, but there have been no known sightings of her since 6 July.

Lukander is described as having light brown dreadlocks, and she often wears a toga with her head wrapped in a turban. She may also be carrying a large brown bag with tennis and badminton rackets.

Lukander appeared in the Idols singing competition several times when she was younger, in the early 2000s, using the stage name Ibi Love.
