The UMK24 event will be held at the Nokia Arena in Tampere on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 6 PM to 3 AM. Here are some instructions to ensure we all have a smooth and great UMK! We reserve the right to changes and clarifications. If you are coming to Dress Rehearsal, please read the instruction here.

Entry to the UMK show is only possible with a UMK24 ticket. The UMK show is age-restricted in permitted spectator blocks and for over 18s in those blocks where alcohol is served. Over-18 spectator blocks are located in parts of the B-stands. Minors must leave by 11 PM, as the after-party is for adults only. The all-night UMK after-party is included in your show ticket. Your ticket has been sent to the email address you provided.

Entry instructions - please read carefully
Because ensuring a safe event is of paramount importance to us, we will conduct security checks on everyone arriving. Due to this, congestion is expected at the entrance. Therefore, please arrive early and proceed to the correct door according to the information below. Thank you!
Before arrival
UMK is celebrated across three floors! Please check your ticket in advance for your seating floor.
Main seating floor (3rd floor), Eurovision Disco: sections A1-A10 and B1-B10. Entry from Door A. Optional coat check (3 EUR) is located on your seating floor (3rd floor).
Upper seating floor (5th floor), YleX Street: sections C1-C10 and D1-D10. Entry from Door B. Optional coat check (3 EUR) is located on your seating floor (5th floor).
Ground floor, 1st floor, Eurovision Disco. Entry from Door B. Mandatory coat check (3 EUR) is located on your seating floor (1st floor).

When you arrive early, you can get into the Eurovision fever at the UMK pre-party Viisudisco starting at 6 PM! At YleX Street on the upper floor, there’s body painting, and in the third-floor UMK karaoke where you can sing your heart out. In addition, you can have your photo taken around the arena with UMK props from past seasons and enjoy special drinks designed for UMK.
You must be in the hall at 8:30 PM when the UMK pre-show starts. We will close the doors of the hall before the broadcast begins! The after-party at Nokia Arena continues on three floors until 3 AM – surprise performances are also possible.

How do I get to UMK?
Nokia Arena is located right in the center of Tampere, about 600 meters from the train station and the bus station. We recommend using public transport instead of your own car, as there are no separate parking areas for the arena. However, there are 4500 parking spaces within a 5-10 minute walk from the main entrances. Detailed arrival instructions can be found on the Nokia Arena website.
CLOAKROOM
The cloakrooms are located on your respective spectator floor, in the Paidia space on the main spectator floor at the A/B spectator blocks (entrance opposite the A3 spectator block) and on the upper spectator floor at the D7-D9 blocks in the C/D blocks. The cloakroom is optional for everyone except for customers seated on the ground floor, whose cloakroom is located on the entrance floor. Larger bags must also be left at the cloakroom for seated customers. We recommend leaving larger bags and other extra items to be left at the cloakroom at home, as cloakroom capacity is limited and queues may form at times.
How to navigate at UMK
You can move freely between floors. However, move around the Arena in such a way that the corridors do not get too crowded. Viisudisco plays on the 1st and 3rd floors, the latter of which also has UMK karaoke. The 5th floor YleX Street is a Eurovision-free area, controlled by YleX's DJ. The hall has seats, but the audience is also allowed to stand in their places. Please always consider the good visibility of fellow spectators. You can bring signs, flags, and other support props to all stands. We reserve the right to remove signs, flags, and other props that interfere with the live broadcast. Alcohol is not allowed in the hall or stands, except for the B-side licensed stands. Only water/soft drinks are allowed in the hall. There are several restaurants and bars in the Arena that serve throughout the event.
Events may not be photographed professionally without permission. Flash photography is prohibited.
Especially the ground floor audience must remain in place during the broadcast and not move around during live performances, as cameras move over the audience. You can go to the bathroom during video inserts, during which the staff will help you out and back into the hall.
Wheelchair spaces
Wheelchair and companion seats are located in spectator blocks A1, A2, B1, and B2, and on the ground floor in blocks E and F. Information about the accessibility of Nokia Arena.
Safety
We want to ensure a safe environment for everyone. We follow the safety and health recommendations of the authorities. If you notice any safety issues, please report them to the nearest security guard.
We do not tolerate any form of discrimination, bullying, or inappropriate behavior at our event. Please report any disturbing behavior to the staff at a low threshold. There are harassment contact persons at the event, to whom you can report possible harassment situations. You can identify the harassment contact persons by their pink reflective vests.

Prohibited items
You may not bring alcohol, glass bottles or cans, firearms or edged weapons (including multitools), fireworks, spray cans (such as hairspray), or other similar dangerous items to Nokia Arena. A security check will be conducted at the entrance.
In the UMK24 show, the artists competing for the Eurovision representative spot are Cyan Kicks, Sexmane, Sara Siipola, Jesse Markin, Windows95man, Sini Sabotage, and Mikael Gabriel x nublu. The TV show features a special appearance by Käärijä and is hosted by Benjamin, Viivi Pumpanen, and Pilvi Hämäläinen. All UMK24 songs are available on Yle Areena and music streaming services. You can vote for your favorite through the Yle app, by calling, or via text message.
