It's not too late to send Christmas cards and packages, national postal service Posti announced on Wednesday.
It said domestic parcels will be delivered on time if they're sent by 20 December, which is still more than a week away.
Meanwhile, the final mailing date for small parcels sent to recipients' mail slots is on 16 December. Posti specified all deadlines ahead of the holiday in a news release.
Posti also has a Christmas page, which among other things, provides information about the locations of service- and temporary pick-up points over the holiday season.
The company reminded people to use the right address when mailing items.
"Each [letter or parcel] should include the recipient’s first and last name, street address, building number, stairway and apartment number, and the city or municipality," Posti's release read, noting that addresses and post codes can be checked at their website.
The firm has urged parcel recipients to pick them up quickly, in order to make room for others.
