President Alexander Stubb, Foreign Minister Elina Valtonen (NCP), and Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio (Finns) will represent Finland at the annual World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, from Tuesday to Thursday next week.

The WEF is a high-profile gathering of political, business and academic leaders aimed at addressing global challenges and fostering international cooperation.

The Finnish delegation's agenda includes several speeches, panel discussions and bilateral meetings with global leaders and stakeholders.

Stubb will participate in a panel discussion on global security and deliver a speech on Europe's role in an era of technological transformation.

He will also address a breakfast event focusing on Ukraine's role amidst shifts in the global order.

Stubb spoke at Davos in 2023, then as a board member of the European Council on Foreign Relations.

Some 3,000 people from more than 130 countries are to take part, including 60 heads of state and government.
