Teenager remanded into custody over railway station stabbing

A 16-year-old boy has been remanded into custody by Helsinki District Court on suspicion of manslaughter over a stabbing earlier in the week.

A 24-year-old man was stabbed on Monday evening at Helsinki Central Railway station after two groups started shouting at each other, before the dispute escalated into a physical confrontation.

Authorities now have until 18 June to charge the suspect.
