Last fall, Ethan asked Travis to submit his info for the lottery to go to the Master this spring. On a whim, anticipating he wouldn't be selected, he entered the Lotto and was selected for four tickets for the Monday practice round. Mason and Alex were the ones selected to join Ethan and Travis and the planning began.

The rain became annoying and was the beginning of the drama
Monday, they drove the two hours to Augusta and made it inside the Augusta National Golf Course to witness the practice round of the Master's. It was beautiful and green and wonderful until the rain came down and the Golf Course closed. No merch. Only 3 golfer sightings and hours sitting in the car waiting for the rain to let up which it never did.
These boys are planning on heading back to Augusta next year. The Master's decided to refund everyone and to give them tickets for a practice round next year. Although it was super disappointing, they have come to terms and are excited to meet up in GA!
Monday night, we learned that they flight home had been cancelled and rescheduled for the evening. Mason had to get home for a baseball game so his parents grabbed him another ticket home in the morning and the Ravy's hung out, depressed, in the hotel all day until they headed to the airport.
I guess it wasn't all depressing. There was sunshine (on the wrong day) and food and ice cream to bring some smiles to their faces. It was good to have them home.
Travis even paid for extended leg room to get home so they could have a win!
