Life is full of good things and here are a few of them.

My dear, sweet friend Amy got married on August 18th.  It was a beautiful ceremony for a beautiful person.  May she and Darryl find so much joy in their new life together.  Love her.

Matthew turned 9 and had a swim party. So fun!

The Eclipse.  We just had a 96% eclipse, but I didn't want to drive to Wyoming.  I might just do it next time.  But, we still got to see the Eclipse, it got darker and colder and was an adventure.  I did take some pictures off of the internet and some pictures are from friends and some from us.

You can see how much of the sun was eclipsed by the dots on our faces.

The eclipse showed through the leaves and through homemade items.

I went to Nuf Said to enjoy it with Travis and friends.  Wiley was being put in his place at the moment this picture was taken!

He's still my baby and still needs his stuffed animals.  Love it.

Friends at book club aka chic-fil-a

Ethan asked for it and he's on the bottom of this pile!

My sweet puppy

Ethan learning to play a game at Garret's house.

I participated in missionary discussion with Cheri, the gal on the left.  It was a true blessing for me to participate and to get to know her.  She was baptized the end of August.  So proud of her decision and pray for her continued faith.

Travis celebrated his 15th year at Nuf Said Advertising in August.  What an accomplishment.  They showed gratitude with this picture.  Thanks for all the work Travis does everyday for our family.  He's the very best dad and husband.

Triston and Alex still need naps on very rare occasions and this was one of those days when they both fell asleep at the same time in different places.  Weirdos! Love them.

Kedzie and I got to go to the Cardinals vs. Broncos pre season game together.  We had a great time.  Kedzie caught a t-shirt and everything.  Grateful my girl loves watching some sports and gets whats going on.  We won the game and loved watching our favorite team, together.

Kedzie took a sewing class this summer and they took her picture for their web site so I had to take a picture of their picture and prove that she's famous! With her friends Kaylen and Lillie.

I may or may nap with him regularly!

Triston got his braces off and his teeth are beautiful! He grew up in an hour! So grateful for the completion of this phase.  Such a good kid and he looks so awesome now!

Back to school, again

These little rascals just keep growing and I keep following them and enjoying their lives.  I hope they are happy.  I hope they love themselves. I hope they are gaining a testimony of the Gospel and of Jesus Christ. I hope they are learning to work hard and to be a good friend to others.  I hope I have taught them enough to be their best selves.  I worry, yet I work to make their lives good and to teach them good, correct principles.  They are at ages now where they almost always have to choose for themselves. I hope I've taught them enough.  Go out and conquer my friends.  Pray always and be good to others. I love you so much.

Wyoming and Utah in one big sweep

From Thornton to 6th Crossing in Wyoming to Yellowstone to Clarkston, Tremonton, Springville, and home.  We had an amazing week of doing new things, seeing loving family and good friends.  It couldn't have been better.  We are truly blessed.

6th Crossing

The Tetons were smoked out by fires up North.

Yellowstone was beautiful.  We camped and had a great time exploring all the beauty

We also ran the snake river.  So. Much. Fun.

On our way to Cache Valley we drove through Star Valley and saw the new Temple and stopped in Montpelier and introduced my kids to my dad!

We rode horses and 4-wheelers, went swimming and played with cousins and friends. We even made it to the fair for an hour. We saw the Martin Harris Pageant, finally and helped Grandma lay weed barrier and mulch under her tree.

A highlight of our weekend was spending the day with our Romer and Ravsten family members.  We went to Diana and Gary's home and had a wonderful day playing on their land. We saw aunts and uncles ate great food and laughed a lot.

Of course, we had to go to Utah State for a bit and then we had lunch with Karen and snacks and Grandma Wood's where we played with more cousins. I didn't get a picture of our night spent with the Bateman's, but we are grateful that we could sleep at their house and we headed home the next day.  One full week of great family and great adventures.  We are loved!
