Here We GOOO!!!

So I just realized that tonight will be the last night in this home here in Carson City.
Here we go on another life adventure....If we didn't have these adventures (some may choose to call them trials)...we would never have learned the things we have learned.

Packing is going ok. We seem to have packed from morning till after mid night for the last 3 days. I am so looking forward to spending some time with Jim and my girls when we are done. Samantha comes up to me every once in awhile and asks to be held, so I try to give her some Mommy time for a minute. They all have been great help in Packing. I learned several years ago that my young family is a team. We have relied on each other and been there for each other and honestly I feel very lost when one or all of my girls are not with me....anyway, kinda a side tangent there...

Jim's Dad and two of his brothers are coming tomorrow. We are loading the truck tomorrow, cleaning tomorrow night, and carpet cleaners will be here early Friday so we can head out early and hopefully make it to Cache Valley by Friday night.

Along with this adventure comes the saying Good-Bye to some very dear friends. You don't know how much I miss you already. You have been my rock for 2 1/2 years now. You have been the ones to support me and help me since family hasn't been here. You have shared your Testimony with me and helped mine to grow. You have invited us into your homes and made us feel so welcomed. You have loved my girls as if they were your own. You have listened to me and given advice also.  I will be taking a little of each of you with me. And I am already planning our visit back.
I can't thank you all enough for the part you have played in my life. I Love you all! And...I will not say Good-Bye, I will just say, See you later!

Christmas 2011

Christmas 2011 will be a Christmas that I will never forget. One of the most special and overwhelming at the same time. We decided that we wouldn't come home to Utah to be with family because we were going to be moving back to Utah in less than a week.
Some of our dear friends invited us over for Christmas Eve dinner. (The Brewer's and Roylance's) It was so much like Christmas Eve at Mom and Dad's. Lot's of yummmy food. Lot's of great company....And ofcourse, a visit from Santa!

Christmas was on a Sunday this year. Church was at 9 so we decided that we would wait til after church to open presents. The girls were so good about this. It made Christmas last alot longer.
After church we all put our jammies back on, opened presents and ate breakfast!

We had such a wonderful relaxing day. I tried really hard to make this day fun because the next day the tree came down and we started packing.

To Our Friends and Family

We didn't get any Christmas Cards sent in the mail this year, but we still wanted to let you all know that we are thinking of you and hope that you are enjoying this wonderful time of year. We are very blessed to have such supportive friends and family. May you all find the peace and joy that you all deserve this Christmas Season and in the New Year.

The 2 Year OLD

Look...Technology put Samantha to Sleep! She loves to watch Dora on her Dad's phone!
Samantha came to me with a face covered in chocolate. I asked her to go wash it off in the bathroom while I finished what I was doing. She went into the bathroom and a few minutes later came back out with all the chocolate gone.....but.....found sister's lip stick! Isn't she beautiful!
One day I noticed that it had been really quiet for quite some time....ok, maybe 20 minutes....which is very abnormal around our house. I went to see what Sam was getting into this time and to my surprise.....She was quietly coloring! As soon as I found her behaving though, things changed! She became the 2 year old that I know!
If it doesn't stay on the spoon, you might as well SSSLLLUUUURRRPPPP IT!

 ALL DONE!
 My little Witch in training!

Salmon Run Oct. 2011

No bears this year, but Lot's of People and Lot's of Furry, Yellow and Black Caterpillars! I think we brought home 5 of them.

Camping Summer 2011

Camping at Davis Creek. Our Quick, 10 minutes to get to, Camp site.

************
The next pictures are the tires on our trailer. We were headed camping one evening when we had a very scary experience. We were driving down the highway with very heavy traffic. We hit a bump in the road where some construction was being done and suddenly the camp trailer comes unhitched from the truck. The emergency brake cabel was pulled on the trailer causing the brakes to lock up.  The trailer dropped to it's hitch stand and was being pulled by the truck with the emergency chains that were connected to the truck. I remember turning back and seeing the trailer with it's nose down and I immediatley told the girls to HANG ON! I knew that our chances of rolling were very likely. But we were being watched out for this time.  Jim stopped the truck as quick as he could and got over to the side of the road. We both jumped out, and surveyed the situation. The first thing I noticed was a semi truck right behind us. I don't know how he didn't hit into us.  Jim quickly got the trailer raised back up and hooked the trailer back on the truck. We pulled on down the road a ways to an area where there was less traffic then we got out and did some more inspecting of the damages. That's when we found the tires were gone....or atleast worn down to the chords. We knew we wouldn't make it very far on those tires. With a phone call to a friend, we were able to find a tire shop that was within 5 minutes of us and was within 5 minutes of closing too. We got there in time, got the tires changed, and headed on down the road to the camp ground. Our prayers were very sincere that night as we thanked our Heavenly Father for protecting us and keeping us safe in a potentially very bad situation.

Christmas Tree Hunting 2011!

This year we tagged along with the Roylance/Brewer family to find our Christmas tree. There were lot's of laughs, some tears, and ALOT of fun!

Lexie and Leah kept trudging off through the trees to help find that perfect Christmas tree.
After the trees were cut, the kids did some sledding.
This picture isn't the best, but I love the expressions on their faces!

 Can you tell what's coming?
A TREE!
 Can you see Leah's Face?
We had a roll.....Not so fun for some.. But those of us not in the sled got a good laugh!..Notice..Flat Stanley survived!

And this is where Sam hung out. Not sure why she didn't want to join the party but she was perfectly content hanging in the truck.
And here we are with our tree! And of course the Lumber Jack!
I Love making Memories! And this was a trip to remember. Lot's of fun with some Great Friends!
