Their eyes light up, and they nod a few times. Veritas will think back on this decision later and think that maybe it wasn't the best idea to take a child to an active crime scene... But the alternative is leaving them in his room alone. And the thought of leaving the young Avgin to his own devices in a strange place icks Veritas to no end.
So, Vertias stands up, still holding the kid, and Kakavasha still wrapped in his toga. He exits the Dreamscape's Hotel, and stalks off towards Clock Studio's Theme Park.

or, Ratio doesn't take it the way he was supposed to. Aventurine finds carefully hidden secrets spilling over in the cradle of their warmth.
