Holy Mandocaster Batman!

Dig this fantastic 1958 #Fender #Mandocaster I just saw at @folkwaymusic in #Waterloo Canada. It’s so clean…with a nicely-grained #ash body, original 3 tone #sunburst finish, and 24 #fret neck! Other than some wear on the #anodized #pickguard this could be a new instrument instead of a 58 year old one. You can see my buddy @samlowry73 (bonus points of you know where he got his pseudonym from!) demo it in the bottom left corner…he even let me video him playing it! I’ll post that shortly so you can hear what this little beauty sounds like!

So I have been looking through pics from past years and realizing “man, I have owned a LOT of #guitars over the last few years!”

So I’m gonna inundate you with a little series I’m calling “Now You’re Just Some Guitars That I Used to Know”. Yay!

First up: #Lefty converted to righty 2007 #AmericanStandard #Stratocaster in #BlizzardPearl. I picked this #Strat up for cheap and had a right-handed nut installed so I could do a “reverse #Hendrix” thing. If you have ever played an upside down Stratocaster, your appreciation for Hendrix is automatically doubled. It’s not easy to do for a myriad of reason which I won’t go into. I sold this #guitar to a guy from #Brazil who was in #Canada on holiday!
