1. PRESENT SIMPLE TENSE

Se utiliza para expresar acciones que tienen lugar en el momento del habla, que forman
parte de una rutina y se repiten con regularidad, acciones que se suceden una tras otra,
que están programadas, o hechos con una validez permanente.

Ejemplos:

She plays soccer every week / We play soccer every week


He does gym at 06:00 pm every day / They do gym at 06:00 pm
We go to school at the morning / She goes to school at the morning

2. AUXILIARY VERB DO – DOES

El uso del verbo «do» (y su variante «does» para la tercera persona)


Este verbo también cumple funciones de verbo auxiliar para crear preguntas y para negar
algo en presente.

Ejemplos:

Does she play soccer? Does he dance? Does he like pop music?

Mary does maths exercises every week / The only thing that we can do is wait.

He doesn’t like coffee

4. The use of “HAVE TO”

Este verbo se usa para expresar la necesidad de realizar distintas acciones. En afirmativo
se usa tanto el have to como el has to, dependiendo de la persona, ya que este último
caso se usa con la tercera persona del singular.

Ejemplos:
He has to goes to school
We have to clean up before go home
She has to make it son
I have to go

5. Past tense of the auxiliary verb DO- DOES- (DID) with short answers
DID-
Lo usamos por una simple, pero, a la vez, poderosa razón: para formar la estructura
correcta de las oraciones interrogativas y las oraciones negativas en el pasado simple en
inglés. Entonces, su único uso es ayudarnos a formar el pasado simple.

+ She bought a gift. /


Ella compró un regalo. She did not buy a gift. /Ella no compró un regalo.

Did she buy a gift? /


¿Ella compró un regalo?

Yes, she did
