104.5 debuted at 1:04 PM on August 21, 2015 replacing what was presumed[by whom?] to be a simulcast of WLLR. Jim O'Hara, Iheart Radio Quad Cities SVP Programmer, says the station blends new music with alternative playing Mumford & sons, Twenty one pilots, Kings of Leon, etc.[citation needed]
