He is unfriendly to others = he turns up his nose at other people

To "snub (verb)" somebody = to ignore them, to 'cut them dead', etc.

"I saw him in the High Street yesterday, he completely snubbed me!"

"a snub (adjective) nose" = a short, or turned up nose

"That pig has a snub nose."

(Also, to "thumb your nose at other people" is to dismiss or insult them.)

I wouldn't say "snub my nose" at someone, but you might hear it as a mix of these other phrases.

Just remember that "snub" has several meanings. 🙂
