This is up there with the most boring overhyped film of "film bro" history.
Uncut Gems has one of the most annoying and terrible scores of all time. It's not "artistic" or whatever A24 was going for. It clashes with the visual vibe of the film so badly that it takes you out of the story and makes you actively think about how bad it is.
This film is only so esteemed because cinema fans go along with the "connoisseur" crowd and do not make their own opinions.
