This is, like, so mid. It's just so boring and doesn't make me remotely interested in exploring more of Queen/Mercury (which as flawed as the Bob Dylan biopic was, did at least do). Overrated IMHO (Queen themselves are also overrated, but that's for another day).

Léon: The Professional 1994
Don't really know how to rate this one - on the one hand, it's a fantastic film with a compelling villain, some brilliant performances and a solid plot throughout. On the other hand, it's pretty fucking noncey. Some scenes were downright uncomfortable to watch, and the fact that the director is a pedo doesn't help it's case one bit. I don't quite know how to feel about it, because it does have its merits, but the weird stuff does overshadow it somewhat.

Gladiator II 2024
This was not without it's flaws, but overall I quite enjoyed it. Paul Mescal was slightly one dimensional (he seemed to be always either brooding or laughing), but then again when comparing him to the magnetism of Crowe, he has a lot to live up to. Denzel obviously steals the show, and I thought the two emperors were pretty entertaining as well (shout out the monkey).
