I was really disappointed by this - but I’m also a little undecided. Let’s start with what I think the film did really well - to the surprise of no one director, Robert Eggers, has created a visually stunning, gothic nightmare that's just dripping in atmosphere. If I was judging the movie on just looks alone, including costumes and set designs… it’s a winner baby!

… and I still think that line is better than this entire movie, but this movie is still a lot of stupid fun.
