Blue Velvet 1986
This one made more sense to me the second time around.
First watch I couldn’t quite grasp what the movie was going for with juxtaposition of tones. It just felt clunky… like are we going for a rom-com or a suspense thriller… BUT this time the intentions behind that rang loud and clear.
