  I feel this movie thinks it's smart yet dumb down script (not themes or messages) with frequent nostalgia (just says references vs. ex. inside joke or iykyk) that would benefit from subtlety or restraint (ex classic or foreign horror) instead overexplains through exposition dumps and cringey dialogue vs. when she walks the talk (balls break, car keys, reckless parking). guess I didn't get "body double" meets "new york ripper"

  best go in blind/cold or the less you know the better. interesting that either view as feminist or misogynist can apply but mostly likeable lead and not hateful antagonist. slight spoiler "hurt people hurt"

  Yes I think it's horror...another brutal but unique take on rape "revenge" oozing (toxic) machismo thru cruel reveals, deep regrets, empty pride esp thanks to its reverse order. simply said, men are abit trash smh lol

  a smart coming of age with humor and not that extreme despite topic that feels like addiction allegory, channeled sexuality, domestic violence, familial loyalty, principles tested. Lastly I really enjoy her bond/love with him, albeit sadly sweet end.
