Deadpool does not have a good plot; it is very common and unoriginal. But the dialogue is a force to be reckoned with. It is a parade of one-liners, sometimes not even caring for any plot development, but hilarious most of the times. And there lies the main strength of the film: it is actually an excellent comedy. State of Play, though dark and confusing, is a very smart thriller, with excellent performances from the whole cast. It is a return to form for Affleck and Crowe and features a great lead in McAdams and a naturally amazing performance from Mirren.
Uma Thurman is a much better actress than the film, but it is so bad, it is hard to watch her waste her talent on a misfire like Motherhood.
