  telling my kids mei mei was me growing up. intentional and well made, perfectly encapsulates the nuances in female familial/platonic friendships — i wish i had this movie when i was younger! pixar animators have outdone themselves with this one. this will be a comfort movie of mine for years to come :")

  loose plot unlike former films. action sequences fell short. unnecessary scenes in a poor attempt to add fluff.
