this movie never fails to make me feel hopeful!!!! (⋟﹏⋞)
was a fav as a kid, as in i would religiously play the DVD over and over every day. and it’s still a fav now. the magic, the colors, the scenery! live action remakes today definitely miss out on a lot of these feelings and visuals.
everyone’s performance in this movie still holds true, but oh myyyy Jason Isaacs…. his captain hook is undoubtedly the hottest in cinema. 😩🫵🏻🚨

A little rewatch in the privacy of my own home and it earned a higher rating.
I wish they had an intimacy coordinator, but wow this movie feels so real and genuine. The dialogue between dancers, the day-to-day experience of a sex worker, the crashing feeling of reality and heartbreak.
