I usually like Jim Jarmusch movies more the second time I watch them. I can’t imagine watching this a second time.

I kind of want to watch the totally unhinged movie of the chaotic background high school kids and the weirdo science teacher who seems to love his compost a bit too much. When he dispenses a cup of “compost tea” and sing songs it around to students but tells them not to drink it, I questioned the educational value of the field trip. There’s a moment at lunch where one kid brings another kid a burrito and says “hey, I brought you a burrito,” gets no response from the kid, and just drops it on the table. This was left in the movie for some reason.
