I'm surprised by how poorly this film has been received, I really enjoyed it!! The concepts it explores are nothing new (like freaky cults and obsessive celebrity culture), but they're popular topics for a reason. I always have to give credit to the visuals, A24 has never dissapointed in that department. Overall, a nice thrill.

The way Jordan Peele handles lighting is one of the greatest successes of Us. Often, the whites of characters teeth and eyes are their only visible features, and it's truly frightening and maintains the unsettling atmosphere.
