Evolution 2001
This is so gloriously silly that I must... perhaps not love it, but at least enjoy it.
I do like Duchovny’s acting in this one, it's just so casual and low-key, like he knows this is silly and embarrassing, so why the hell go all in?
Finally, great one-liners. On the top of my head, these two have made me chuckle for days.

Dolores Claiborne 1995
The slow pace, easy editing, character study, and beautiful score. I got a soft spot for this kind of dignified thriller and stylized film. One of those that Hollywood used to churn out, though seems very much unusual these days.
Kathy Bates, what a trooper(!), stars together with an overall great cast. Moving and dramatic. One of the best Stephen King adaptations for sure.
Finally, I absolutely love how the narrative incorporates the present timeline and flashbacks.
