Doctor Who: Full Circle 1980
Really a boilerplate story for the Tom Baker era elevated by the vibe. Part slapstick and part B-horror, the Nightfall are creepy and the close-up POV and whirling establishing shots add some real ominous aura to this. You also see K9 get beheaded in a gloriously hilarious climax to one of these creepy moments. Also the first appearance of the much-maligned Adric, who our first impression of is a know-it-all starbellied Sneech you're immediately hoping is going to get pulled into that toxic bog water. Some TARDIS shenanigans and big goofy rubber spiders will have to suffice instead.
