I was not familiar with the lead, Treat Williams, but he looks like a young version of the old man from UP.
Felt like an attempt to capture the magic of at least 3 James Cameron movies I can think of, managing to fall short in every regard, even with something like a decade of development in film making techniques between them.

Marisa Tomei and Vincent D’Onofrio are FANTASTIC in this movie. Any other actors couldn’t of sold the absurd comedy and drama of the premise but they delivered absolutely pitch perfect vibrant perfomances that grounded these characters in reality.
