Oppenheimer 2023
Oppenheimer drops an anvil on your chest and the sensation never truly leaves you, even after the film ends. There’s a feeling of penetrating guilt that I can only really liken to humidity, hot and palpable and unforgiving. The sweat sticks to you like a sin and the atmosphere only gets heavier and more unrelenting. First the explosion in its inconceivable enormity, then the terror of what you created.
I love a good 3 hour movie.
