Boring scenes throughout first half. Also there was never a definitive moment of whether this movie is serious or campy leading to the end being so CRINGE. Had potential but ending ruined it.

The Zone of Interest 2023
Not much interest-ing. 1 star for the 2 night vision scenes for being creative and somewhat cool. Visually appealing (easy to do with nature,flowers, etc.) but drained out by boring scenes in-between. The more intense scenes are very predictable (house-keeper getting yelled at for the puddle in the house). Could’ve gone without a couple of the scenes. Main actor seemed young for the role. Did great, more of a casting issue. Went in with high expectations, left underwhelmed. Movie dragged…
