By far the grossest movie I've ever seen, but also maybe the most interesting and clever filmmaking? Idk but i will NOT be watching it a second time.

I Saw the Devil 2010
"You've created a monster. How interesting."
Pretty gruesome, disturbing, and gross. I can't help but relate this to another Korean horror film, The Wailing (2016). While The Wailing is also disturbing it didn't make this the main factor of its scariness, it relied more on the psychological and the unknown. I Saw the Devil was disturbing to the point of going overboard, but maybe that's the point. I just didn't like all that gross stuff. All of that aside, I will say that it was well made. Not my favorite horror from South Korea but I can see why this might be high on people's lists.

The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
It took me way too long to get around to watching this. Wes Anderson has such a unique and amazing style to his films. His use of color is so good and this film is just visually amazing. Wes Anderson's style actually makes the jokes and dry humor funnier. The tracking shots and the way people enter the screen add to the comedy. The performances by all the actors were very good, especially Ralph Fiennes. All of that aside, It is just super funny and entertaining.
