If you are moved by this then get a fucking grip. “We are all ignoring the evil beyond the walls”… no the fuck we aren’t… Yes there are parallels to Palestine but why are we crediting Glazer with that? Look up American and British critics’ reviews of the film and you won’t find a single mention of Palestine. Anyway, the choice of focusing on the Nazi family living a normal life besides a concentration camp is meant to evoke discomfort…

Oh boy… torturous to get through, style does nothing but take away from any sort of connection to the story, found it unbearable and very hard to follow. Really wanted to like it because the cast & producers were so well-spoken in the q&a and the answers seemed so genuine.
