A very good time. Denzel doin work and I also found Mark Wahlberg unironically hilarious in this. Maybe I’m an idiot, or just the target audience, but all (most) of his jokes landed with me resulting in a genuine laugh. Solid comfort-food movie.

I did not find any form of pleasure or satisfaction or enjoyment watching Enemy. Minor spoilers ahead but who cares don’t watch this movie.
Jake Gyllenhaal is good at his job and showed up to work in this movie. Enemy actually does a good job setting up the plot and I find the first 30 minutes or so really engaging. Unfortunately, the plot being set up just sucks cock. This “psychological drama” turned into Parent Trap meets WifeSwap or some shit. I was uncomfy the whole 3rd act.
I’m sure the spiders have some kind of profound symbolism but fuck all that, this movie was not good.
