i’ve always been a firm believer that movies that need to rely on graphic depictions of SA to evoke emotion and convey their message (which this movie didn’t even do well) are never good and mysterious skin is a prime example. i feel like the scenes with the child actors could’ve been handled with much greater care and beyond that the film’s cinematography and acting were underwhelming so i’m genuinely confused on why this movie has such a high rating

Halloween 1978
one of the most boring and anti climatic classics i’ve seen so far. i don’t even think it deserves to be known as a slasher movie when all he was waddle around while breathing heavily. also the sexualisation of the teen girls especially during their deaths was so weird and uncomfortable??
