  Wow. Beautiful, poetic, queer. This was directed, edited, and shot by women artists, and you really, really feel the female gaze. An amazing *feminist* exploration of masculinity, colonialism, and desire. This might be my favorite cinematography ever. A perfect film to me.

  1) Ithaca has beautiful sandy beaches, tight bods and skimpy dresses, and lots of homoerotic shenanigans. I’m booking a flight there for  pride 2025. 2) Juliette Binoche was the best thing about this fine but not very inspiring adaptation of the Odyssey (I ❤️ French actresses).
