This movie shows the dismemberment of a black queer woman’s psyche at the hands of her white partner. The film illustrates well the continued subjugation of black women at the hands of even those that consider themselves to be white saviors. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie because although many of the twists were predictable it was very satisfying to see the good one win in the end!
