Reiteration if many sci-fi horror before it. Lot of the build up and where the story goes, you should be able to guess as there’s only 2 characters in the movie. They did do a good job with story in some parts with how they subverted expectations to try to make it different. The ending is probably the best part from the visuals, both practical and digital.

Locked 2025
Movie is similar to movie called 4x4. From what I can remember there are many similarities, but this one adds to it. Bill was acting really well in it and it stood out compared to how he acted in the Crow. Anthony Hopkins seemed to not give too much effort in my opinion as it was probably his worst role I’ve seen him in.

The world building alone in this film is so intricately thought out that even something small has great attention to detail. The story was a great cyberpunk detective film exploring new world for the audience to view. I enjoyed every second of this film and hope we can get more from this universe from things mentioned in film.

OVERLORD: The Sacred Kingdom 2024
I know the premise of the anime and books. Going in with that and the intro they give us, almost none of that matters. There’s a quick scene with couple of lines that talks about it, but it is never brought up again. The movie was decent until the first big fight with the main character and the villain. After that it took a nosedive story wise and picked back up towards the end, even though the final battle was super lackluster probably due to time constraints. Overall story is ok and the characters and world building were cool.
