  Nostalgic and sentimental 5 star. In reality this is a 3.5 at best.

  I know this movie line by line, joke by joke, down to the music cues. And it still makes me laugh and cry. I can’t explain what it was like to be a Red Sox fan growing up while this movie came out. And to be a fan of pre late night Jimmy Fallon, to have him star in a movie about you and your uncle’s favorite…

  2.5hrs of “what ah you bustin my bawlls?”

  5 stars if it were an hour shorter. It’s pretty much a Sopranos prequel hype movie, half the cast is already there.

  At one point The Rock raps. The ocean turns into a galaxy. In the middle of his rap he grabs a seashell and blows into it as if a saxophone. Saxophone solo ensues, with flames bursting out. The Rock finishes his rap verse.*

  My parents were unbelievably stoked to see this and even they didn’t like it.
