we walked in the theatre as the sun began to set, shades of pink and blue interrupted by small flashes of lightning. we walked out of the theatre into the night, the darkness would be overwhelming if not for pink lights that lined the street, my hair was in my face because of the wind but I didn’t mind. it’s been a bit over an hour since we left the theatre but there’s a part of me that is still sitting there.
