Witch Trilogy 13+ 2019
Pretty mediocre work. No idea why this is listed as horror-drama. Nothing pleasurable, nothing scary, you may try to make a short film without spoken word and use just visuals. That does not mean it has to be hard so therefore bad, there are a lot of ways to scare people without using words (e.g cinema of the unsettling). I feel like this was made to just make something different/experimental but these kinds of acting, design, visuals are very abundant in experimental theatres.

It was a disaster. I mean it is cool to like portray a time where women or people in disbelief are called infidels and witches. It is ofc cool to show the misery and all but how worse could you have made this movie?
Everything we see hypatia predict/calculate/theorise is bullshit, at the end movie tells you that none of her work remained to this time. And the way she finds them, yeah when the audience knows what the modern…
