Lady Bird 2017
perfectly captures the essence of wistful longing that’s embedded into the city of sacramento. i felt like going for a drive through all the bends of the roads i’ve known for my whole life after seeing this. but there’s one thing i can’t forgive. there wasn’t one mention of the 2002 western conference finals the entire movie??? this was a city in grieving yet greta didn’t use her platform to shine a light on the crimes of david stern and tim donaghy. i think robert horry’s buzzer beater in game 4 is what gave lady bird’s dad depression and it should’ve been talked about
