I’ve seen this movie many times and when I played it I started smiling because I was so excited to watch it again. One of the best opening scenes of any movie, the pace of the dialogue, the soundtrack, the scenes of mark running in flip flops, I love all of it. The perfection of the line readings. The scenes, they’re so good. It’s also a pretty lowkey funny movie. Yes I know all the stuff about how it’s not technically accurate but I don’t care. This is a masterpiece.

Performances are absolutely top tier. As good as Daniel day Lewis is, Paul Dano matched him in every single scene. Cinematography is top tier.
