An absolutely gorgeous and inciteful film. It has such an evocative, expressive animation style. The life of Amin and how his experiences as a refugee have shaped him is palpable in this film. This is because the storytelling is chopped up in such a fresh, realistic way. Also, the framing device of Amin's friendship with the director was incredibly utilised, this isn't a typical sit-down documentary. Your friend is telling you about their past.
