  “You’ve got to be careful that the person you fall in love with is worth it to you.”

  I mean to put it bluntly it’s really just a raw depiction of how relationships can just turn to complete shit. And that’s kind of the whole takeaway. The time jumps were done really well; their love story spliced in with their ever escalating failing marriage made for a damming contrast. 

  A solid film and story, but just couldn’t connect with it all that well in the end.

  “If you ride like lightning, you’re gonna crash like thunder”

  Loved this film. Went down a route I wasn’t expecting at all but turned out to be a really great story. Didn’t try to be clever or epic or grand in any way but it was all better for it. The characters were brilliantly written with good arcs and development, and the way the story was passed on from on person to another was done really really well. 

  The shot of Jason riding his pushbike down the same road as his Dad near the end gave me chills… combined with the score that was absolute cinema.
