American Fiction 2023
Without the excellent performance from Jeffery Wright, and his ability to be the comedic, dramatic, and narrative heart of American Fiction, this film wouldn't have been nearly as compelling. Embrace of the Serpent 2015
A challenging but deeply engaging watch, it ultimately left me with more questions than answers. I've come to realize that the films I enjoy most are often those that leave me wanting more, inviting me to watch and rewatch them again and again, noticing more and more upon each new viewing. The cinematography was perfect, the flying shots near the end of the film with the soaring music were amazing, and the score, though fairly subtle, did a wonderful job…
