  Up to this point in my life, I'd read so many reviews that talked about a movie being soulless, and never been able to relate.

  Now I get it. This movie wasnt bad, but it wasnt good. It just exists, and has no purpose.

  And it broke so many of it's own rules, that it might actually topple It Follows for most egregious disregard of it's own in universe reality.

  Music was nostalgic though.

  Seems a lot of the reviews in here were expecting a woke tale of fiction, not a real story that happened.

  The movie is all shades of grey, as is reality.

  Viggo's heart grows an inch, and honestly, that's all it needed to do. Viggo didn't need to acheive total enlightenment, because that would have been bullshit. Many parts of the deep south depicted are still exactly the same, 50 years on.

  I think the most unbelievable part of the film is that the racists weren't as racist as they would have been.
