    A hell of a good ride from start to finish. The characters are fun regardless of their lack of depth, but honestly the film doesn’t need them to be that complex. The effects and sets are superb and make the world feel vast yet believable. There’s some incredibly creative camera work and some terrific cgi oners.

    The film also nails the feeling of playing d&d with its action. Escalating stakes and shifting environments that never turn in the characters’/players’ favor.…
