Solid film, well-acted, but it just didn’t make much sense to me. I get that it’s a small community, but the level of lawlessness and mob mentality felt completely unrealistic, especially in a country like Denmark of all places. The Brutalist 2024
A great film with stunning visuals and cinematography that feel even more impressive considering its small budget. The performances are also very good, and despite its 3.5-hour runtime, it never drags and keeps you fully engaged from start to finish. Beautifully built world and the way the atmosphere of it builds tension is masterful. That said, the last part of the movie felt like it was missing something the rest had. It seemed a bit rushed, and the way it was handled almost felt like an afterthought. Still, it’s a fantastic film overall, but the ending just didn’t quite do the trick for me.
